Allie is a Sydney-based writer who believes in the boundless possibilities of imagination and in telling stories that resonate with the heart. Allie is the author of young adult romance Falling Away, as well as middle-grade fiction Cloud Quest.

Born and raised in Sydney, Allie graduated from the University of Sydney with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Social Anthropology. After working in publishing for several years she returned to university and graduated with a Bachelor of Social Work (Honours).

Allie has been writing since the age of 7. Short stories, poetry, secret diaries … and completed her first mushy romance novel at the age of 22. Luckily this shmaltzy, sappy love story never saw the light of day!

Juggling motherhood, part-time work and mostly nocturnal writing habits, Allie has a penchant for drinking way too many Chai lattes, and eating chocolate almonds as if they’re the last food available on the planet.

When Allie’s not writing, wrangling children (or doing the laundry or grocery shopping) she’s reading contemporary romance novels – another addiction that simply refuses to go away!
